SFPUC Open House
Review and Comment on the Draft Lake Merced Watershed Plan!
WEDNESDAY, May 12
3:30 - 7 pm
SF Public Library, Main Branch
Nature in the City and other environmental organizations & agencies provided the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) with extensive comments on this inspiring plan, which can now be viewed online. Now it is the community's turn to express the voice of the native plants and animals of the city!
Come to the SFPUC Open House to comment on the plan and promote the maximum amount of ecological restoration of the lake and the environment! Nature in the City also lobbied for the maximum restoration alternative on the Natural Areas Plan - and Lake Merced is the biggest natural area in the city! Now we have a wonderful opportunity to link those two planning processes so we get the best restoration alternative for Lake Merced.
If you cannot make the open house, submit your written comments to lakemerced@sfwater.org. For more information, contact Suzanne Gautier at 415-554-3204 or sgautier@sfwater.org.
