Mt. Sutro Stewards Volunteer Day

TOMORROW, Saturday, October 4
9 am - 1 pm

The Mt. Sutro Stewards Trail Crew will begin improvements to the Fairy Gates to Historic Trail connector -- rerouting the steep section that runs below Medical Center Way from the Woods Lot/Historic Trail connector to the Fairy Gates Trail. Be prepared for some good physical activity throughout this project. Tools, training, gloves and supervision will be provided.

The Mt. Sutro Stewards Habitat Crew will work along the Fairy Gates Trail and Lower North Ridge Trails -- removing the invasive ivy and blackberry from these areas.

Meet at the Woods Building parking lot, located at 100 Medical Center Way.
Automobile access is available to the Woods Lot from Clarendon Drive via Johnstone to Medical Center Way.
You may walk from Parnassus to the Woods Lot via the steep stairway and up the Surge Lot.
Parking is available for volunteers only during scheduled activities.
